Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Why did you name your firm Financial Fountains?

Like the cascades of a fountain, financial resources ebb and flow in various seasons of a client’s life. Regardless of income, good financial management is like the basin of a fountain that captures the flow and builds a pool of wealth, enabling a client to enjoy life more and to do more for the common good. This is why I named my firm, Financial Fountains. I help people turn income into wealth and wealth into income for the common good.

Why should I work with Financial Fountains?

By partnering with us, you have at your fingertips sound guidance from experts who will listen carefully to where you are and assist you along your financial journey. We help direct your time, energy, and focus toward meeting your goals while enjoying life along the way.

What kind of people do you work with?

Our clientele is very diverse, representing various professions, household status, and generations (e.g. Baby Boomer, GenX, and millennials). Our clients share a common desire for enhancing their personal knowledge of finances, making the most of their available resources, and building and leaving a legacy for their families and their communities. They also agree that open communication and accountability are the foundation for a great client-planner partnership.

Do I need a lot of money to become a client? I earn good money, but I’m not rich, yet.

Many of our clients are H.E.N.R.Y.s: High Earners Not Rich Yet. Our firm’s fee structure is best suited for single clients earning at least $75,000 and households with gross income greater than $150,000. Our financial planning fees are billed monthly to align with your Money Rhythm and lifestyle plan. Because we believe everyone should have access to financial planning, we work closely with community partners and will refer individuals who are progressing along the wealth spectrum.

How often will we meet?

The initial financial planning engagement can span three months to twelve months based on your financial planning service (hourly or comprehensive). Typically, we meet every three to four weeks; the timing could be more or less frequent throughout the engagement period. Assignments will be shared and completed between meetings. Most of our client meetings are virtual meetings which allow us to partner with clients across the country. We conduct in-person meetings as requested.

Do you work with organizations and businesses?

We offer educational seminars in group settings on a variety of financial planning topics. Our founder, Lazetta, also speaks at conferences as a keynote speaker, presenter, and panelist.
